Bienvenidos a Casa de Mi Padre

The ministry of Casa de Mi Padre is to provide refuge and shelter for needy children coming from poverty, shattered homes, abandonment, or who are orphaned through death. Casa meets the physical needs of children in order to have the opportunity to meet their physical and emotional needs.

Child Rescue established Casa de mi Padre (My Father's House) children's home where children receive hope, stability, food, clothing, shelter, family, schooling, solid Biblical instruction, and living examples of God's love.

Looking Ahead to 2026

2026 Rent Due Jan. 1

Our landlord has raised the rent for the first time in 14 years (very fair, we thing). We need $12,000 for 2026. It is due at the first of the new year. Please pray about partnering with us as we continue to father the father-less. To help, please click the button below or pay by check. Online donations will go into “McCauley Special Projects and Rent” - include a Memo of RENT.

Claudia's Story

God's Provision and Perfect Timing

Claudia has worked alongside us in our school for over 13 years and has been a phenomenal part of Casa de Mi Padre. She's a women of God who loves the children as her own, teaching them Scripture and naturally discipling them day by day. When recent government changes required us to restructure our school and hire a full-time psychologist-educator starting in the 2026 school year, Claudia could no longer continue as our school director. It was hard for all of us - she's one of the best teachers and mentors we've ever had.

At our graduation ceremony earlier this month, as we honored Claudia for her years of faithful service, I felt a deep conviction that this couldn't be the end of her ministry here. Later that evening, we sat together in my office, prayed, and talked about a possible new role - helping with administration while continuing to disciple the children she loves so deeply. Claudia smiled and said she'd love that, especially since her degree is actually in administration. She also mentioned that she would love to set up some discipleship times with the young adults in our Advance Program. At the time, we didn't have the financial means to make it happen - but we know that if God wanted it, He would provide...

The very next morning, while meeting with a missions group from the USA that was visiting for the week, two friends on the mission team unexpectedly asked how much it would cost to keep Claudia serving the children. They offered to cover it on the spot. I was stunned. I told them we had just prayed about that the night before. They immediately offered to split the cost so Claudia could stay on our staff. It was one of those unmistakable moments where God made His will clear. He wants Claudia here - continuing to pour truth and love into these children. God Provides!
